Everyone who knows me can attest to the fact that simple things amuse me. I offer the following photos as proof:

$2.00 Goodwill Frame became a Dry Erase Board. | | | |
|
|
Of course I had to add a pop of color against our all white walls. This time I opted for a sunshine yellow on the frame and some sky blue paper. So far I've written a little message every day with the intent of making everyone in the household smile.

I learned to sew a straight line (sort of). |
|
I'm currently learning to use a sewing machine. My goal at this point is to master a straight line. Thus far, I've only made six napkins. They are far from perfect and lack pretty mitered edges, but we're just gonna wipe our mouths on them anyway.

Our pantry. |
This little cabinet serves as our pantry. Not that we're lacking in cabinet space. But it works perfectly in this little nook. We organize it pretty routinely but days later it always looks pretty much like this. Sigh.

Now it really won't matter :) |

A bit of fabric leftover from the dining room chair project with some double sided self-adhesive Velcro tape and about 10 minutes later... I promise, Chris and I really did remove everything and give it a good scrub down. Not that you can tell. But isn't that the point?
Maybe we'll use our new dry erase frame to keep a tally of how many people open the doors to sneak a peak of what is behind the curtains of this mysterious cabinet....
